Entry to Fortunata is via International Air Transport on the island of Portia.

 

Entry is available to any person, without a Visa, providing they sign the Code of Conduct. All stays are for a maximum of 30 days unless special arrangements are made prior to entry. Firearms and drugs are strictly forbidden. Confiscation, large fines and deportation can be expected.

 

Entry to Fortunata island is by special pass only.

 

Visitors that want to enter the main island of Fortunata are expected to bring something special. Other islands in the group will be happy to entertain tourists with nothing more required than booking of any of the well priced accommodation and holiday packages, but entry to Fortunata, even for a week, requires a valuable gift to the people.

 

If a group of Engineers would like to hold a Symposium, they will be expected to supply plans for a new bridge or hospital as a part of the fee. The residents must receive a direct benefit from every visitor.

 

Similarly, doctors that want to hold a convention will be expected to bring a new linear accelerator or at least a portable x-ray machine to leave at the hospital, in addition to fees for hire of auditoria and facilities.
